Rick Fleming has 25 years of Lean Manufacturing experience. He is also a Six Sigma Black Belt as well as a certified lead assessor for ISO/QS-9000 and understands how to leverage the ISO requirements with lean manufacturing systems.

Rick speaks frequently on the many facets of implementing lean manufacturing and has written several articles on the techniques involved with continuous improvement and implementing mini-companies. He co-founded the User Group approach to networking and shared learning with Mike Rother and Kiyoshi Suzaki, which has been highlighted in the Wall Street Journal. One of his clients was a Shingo Prize winner in 2001.

Rick’s introduction to manufacturing process improvement was gained at Lamb Technicon, a Clarity client which designs and manufactures automotive assembly systems.
